Together, We Are Changing Homelessness

At Changing Homelessness, we believe a stable home is essential for the health and wellbeing for both the individual and our entire community. We also believe homelessness can only be solved when we address the complex and systemic barriers that cause it.

That’s why we embrace the gift of diversity and value powerful cross-sector partnerships that move us forward to our goal of housing for all; homelessness is a community issue and it takes an entire community to solve it. We are honored to lead this work and grateful for every advocate, partner and ally, whose humility and support are evidence of what it means to lift others up. We value the guidance, persistence, creativity and resourcefulness of our thought partners, and appreciate the contribution of out-of-the-box thinking, ideas and action that have resulted in some of the greatest milestones we’ve ever seen.

Help us maintain the momentum.

Dignity Day

Friday, June 26th

This is a community-wide outreach event centered on one simple belief: everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with respect. The day brings together service providers, outreach teams, volunteers, and community partners to meet people where they are – both physically and emotionally – offering support without judgment.

During Dignity Day, individuals experiencing homelessness can access essential resources such as coordinated entry assessments, housing navigation, basic needs, and connections to health and social services. Just as importantly, the event creates space for meaningful conversations, trust-building, and human connection.

More than an outreach event, Dignity Day is a reminder that dignity is not earned – it is inherent. It reflects our community’s commitment to compassion, collaboration, and practical action toward ending homelessness.
